Peninsula sees 46mm rainfall in three weeks

A total of 36.1mm of rain has fallen on the Peninsula in the fortnight to Friday, July 24, bringing the total for the month to 46.2mm, according to figures supplied by Mr Jim Morrison of Umina.

The monthly average rainfall for July is 60mm.

With one week until the end of the month, the total was 29 per cent below the average.

The cumulative total rainfall for the year was 1038.8mm, which is 20.1 per cent above the average figure at the end of July of 865mm.
