Online auction raises $4700 for hall upgrade

An online auction conducted by the Pearl Beach Progress Association has raised more than $4700 for the association's Memorial Hall Upgrade project.

The auction of 22 items was held this month, closing on July 21

Services and items auctioned included art lessons, paintings and sculptures.

Afternoon teas, fish and chips and an Irish whiskey pudding cake were also auctioned, as were an architectural consultation, garden weeding and computer tuition.
