Money needed on decaying local road network

Adam Crouch has again displayed how incredibly out of touch with reality he is, in defending the need for a roundabout on Empire Bay Dr and Picnic Pde (Peninsula News 498).

Has he ever driven this route in peak hour? I suspect not.

And what congestion at Picnic Pde? The only congestion is at the roundabout at Barrenjoey Rd.

If it is so needed, why the urgency to defend the need for this waste of money.

The roads on the Peninsula are a disgrace, positively dangerous on many streets, as any local knows.

One shakes the head at this incompetence.

This money should be spent where it's needed which is on our ever-decaying local road network, no committees, no delays. It is so simple.

We will have another glossy brochure in our rates notice and Adam Crouch will crow "Look what I have done for the Peninsula" at election time.

Has he driven around Woy Woy or Umina? I think not, Terrigal seems to be the priority.

Again our politicians seem to have their own agendas.

What is he not telling us?

Can they be so blind to what the real priorities are?

Surely the safety of our local drivers are Mr Couch's main priority, but it seems not.

They are not listening.

I wonder if they even care.

If Adam Crouch really cares, he should be pushing heaven and earth to secure funding to fix the Peninsula's roads, not defending the indefensible.

The incompetence continues.
