Warning about double parking

Parents of students at Umina Beach Public School have been urged not to double park in the drop off and pick up zones at the school.

"This can create a dangerous situation for students walking between vehicles," said principal Ms Lyn Davis.

"The zones for drop off/pick up and the bus zones have recently changed.

"The new bus zone is closest to the intersection of where Sydney Ave meets Hobart Ave.

"The area directly out the front of the gate closest to our admin building is now a designated drop off and pick up zone."

Ms Davis asked parents to help make sure the roads around our school are safe for our students," Ms Davis said.
