Southern Spirit wins in girls' league
Southern Spirit Cricket Club's Girls Sixers League team has toppled Narara-Wyoming in their Round 4 clash at Sohier Park on February 25.
"Southern Spirit continued its winning run with an exciting six run win over Narara-Wyoming," said Central Coast Cricket Association media officer Mr Garry Burkinshaw.
"All girls performed well but the standout for the Spirit was Leisel Collins with 24 runs."
The Girls Sixers League take to the field every Monday night.
Due to smaller league numbers, the Spirit did not contest during Round 5 which took place on March 5 and instead engaged in a training clinic, which all participating will do in their off weeks.
The Spirit will next face Kincumber-Avoca on March 11.
