Nippers celebrate end of season

Killcare Surf Life Saving Club celebrated the end of its 2018-19 Nippers season on February 24.

"Despite the beach being closed due to big swells, it was a great afternoon session of Nippers to close up the season," said club president Mr Peter Bagnall.

"The afternoon was rounded out by graduating our under-14s into the senior ranks."

Mr Bagnall said under-14 age manager Chris Scarlett had run the group since they were the under-6s.

"While he's done more than his fair share, we really hope Chris will double back and we'll see him again next season."
