Rugby union season set to start on April 6

The 2019 Central Coast Rugby Union Competition will start on April 6, with Woy Woy Lions Rugby Club set to face-off against Gosford at Showground Rd rugby field in Gosford.

Lions head coach Mr Ben Bulla said players were keen to make their mark on this year's competition.

"With the 2019 competition coming up fast, the Lions are lacing up the training shoes and putting in the hard yards to take the next step in 2019.

"After narrowly missing a grand final berth in 2019, it is great to see a good mix of new players and the old boys putting in and pushing each other along.

"The competition for spots in the senior grades this year will be tough.

"This always brings out the best in the playing group," Mr Bula said.
