Rotarians try arm wrestling against a champion
Several members of the Rotary Club of Umina Beach tested their mettle against world number fifth ranked arm wrestler Mr Charlie Andrijich, when he spoke to the club in February.
"Charlie spoke on how he had always had an interest in fitness and martial arts when he took up arm wrestling," said club publicity officer Mr Geoff Melville.
"Since then, Charlie has represented Australia and is currently ranked fifth in the World.
"He showed us different moves and because he brought his arm wrestling table could demonstrate them very well.
"You would never think that arm wrestling in a pub could be so different to the professional arm wrestling that Charlie demonstrated," Mr Melville said.
