Woman praised for baby's rescue
A woman who rescued a baby from the water at Woy Woy wharf has been praised by the baby's family and emergency services.
The baby fell into the water from its pram which was being pushed along the wharf by his 10-year-old brother just after 9pm on Friday, March 1.
The pram went off the side of the wharf and tipped the baby into the water.
Ms Jaye Narvo, a staff member at the nearby Bayview Hotel, was on her meal break at the time.
She noticed what had happened, ran across the road, dived into the water and kept the baby afloat until help arrived.
