Dance school wins at eisteddfod
Children from the Drama and Discovery class of Amanda Benson's dance school have competed in their first Central Coast Eisteddfod.
The children competed in the schools year 3 to 6 improvisation.
Reece Flack, Elizabeth Tearall and Lauren Cook gained first place, with Bradley Death, Tom Bowyer and Sam French in second place.
Amanda said: "My motto is 'be brave' and they were.
"All students performed well and had a lot of fun and that is what it's about.
"We also did very well in the poetry section with Genevieve Island's Little Miss Muffet in first, Kayley Paul second and Shannon Cuthbert and Lauren Cook third.
"This is our first year competing in the Eisteddfod, which was organised by Patricia Finch and Carol McKenna.
