Aboriginal workshop over three weeks

An Aboriginal Art and Culture workshop is to be held over three consecutive Mondays at the Peninsula Community Centre.

The first workshop focusing on painting was held on September 8 and two more workshops are scheduled in different subject areas.

The next one on September 15 will be on cultural awareness, and the final workshop on September 22 will be on craft.

Workshops will start at 6pm and run until 8.30pm.

They are for anyone who wishes to learn about aboriginal art and culture.

The workshops are free and all materials will be supplied.

The series of workshops is a project of Gosford TAFE, Purrimaibahn Aboriginal Unit at Hunter Institute of TAFE, Gosford Council, and Mingaletta Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporation.
