Markets planned by Woy Woy Leagues
Woy Woy Leagues Club will hold community markets on its newly-resurfaced car park on the first Sunday of every month.
The first will take place on Sunday, February 4, from 8am until 1pm.
In the event of rain, the markets will be moved to the club's undercover car park.
Entry to the markets will be free and stall-holders pay $10 with the proceeds going to junior sport in the area, according to club secretary-manager Mr Michael Crighton.
"We want to bring life and excitement to the Woy Woy CBD on a Sunday and see the markets as a good way to do this," he said.
"We will have a jumping castle for the children and a buskers' competition on a specially-erected stage.
"All are welcome to participate with bookings being taken at club reception," he said.
Mr Crighton said the resurfaced car park had made parking at the club much easier and had reduced the amount of dust that arose when it was a gravel car park.
