A century for the Peninsula

The Centenary of Federation marks an occasion that allows Australians to think of the first 100 years of our nation and our achievements and mistakes.

Gosford Council and the Public Works Department fund an aerial photographic survey of Ettalong Beach to determine the extent of severe sand erosion between Bangalow and Beach Sts.

Sand re-nourishment works had been undertaken in 1979, according to city engineer Mr Keith Dedden.
