Women receive donation for Cancer Council
A group of women raising money for the Central Coast branch of the Cancer Council has received a donation of $11,700.
Ettalong Diggers has donated the money to the Peninsula branch of Girls Just Wanna Have Fun for their annual fundraising event.
"Our sponsorship enables 100 per cent of the ticket sales to go directly to Cancer Council," said Diggers marketing manager Ms Kim Cole.
"The funds raised actually stay here on the Coast, to benefit, and support local women with cancer, and their families.
"This year's theme on September 9, in our ballroom, is Hollywood Glitz and Glam.
"Due to its popularity and the cause, it has already sold out."
