Application seeks amendment to 2017 approval
An application to amend a 2017 development approval for 55 Kourung St, Ettalong, has been submitted to Central Coast Council.
The original approval altered an existing dwelling and included a new one-storey addition, which formed part of the original dwelling.
The amendment would change the development into a two-storey dwelling.
It would change internal layouts, windows and doors, and cladding to suit the new two-storey arrangements.
A carport is proposed to be located at the rear of the property.
Other changes include a rear deck, an entry deck and awning structure, and an adjustable louvre roof system to the north side of the dwelling.
The application does not admit to any non-compliance with planning provisions arising from the changes to the original application.
It concludes: "The proposed residence has been designed with the minimisation of impact upon the environment, subject site, neighbouring sites and neighbourhood in general being a central aim.
"The design also takes advantage of cross ventilation and solar access to heart and cool the dwelling.
"The proposed design creates an interesting aspect from street view with the choice of materials, louvres and sliding doors, deck areas and also the roof design."
The proposal is currently on public exhibition and available for written submissions.
