Ettalong women's major singles final

Ettalong Memorial Women's Bowling Club held its Major Singles final on March 15.

Judy King and Tracy Osborne contested the final with Tracy Osborne emerging victorious.

"Tracy bolted out of the blocks, racing to a 9 to 4 lead," said club communications officer Ms Maureen Kerr.

"Judy won the next two ends, getting within four shots of Tracy.

"Tracy won multiples of three, four and two on the next three ends, giving her an 18 to 5 lead.

"Judy won the next three ends score putting the score at 18 to 9.

"Towards the latter stages of the game, it looked as if Judy was making a comeback getting to within six shots of the lead, but Tracy won the last two ends making the final score 25 to 15."
