Produce swap at community garden
The next produce swap Woy Woy Peninsula Community Garden will take place on April 28.
The events are held regularly by volunteers of the as a means of connecting local gardeners, growers and fresh produce lovers with the largest community garden on the Peninsula.
"A produce swap works by having a set time and place for backyard growers to bring their excess food to share with other members," said garden founder Ms Jill Meredith.
"It is a very casual affair and nobody keeps score.
"By bringing your produce you are saying that you are happy for anyone to take what they need because it is excess to your needs.
"It is simply a way of sharing your food with the people in your neighbourhood.
The event will take place from 10am to 11am at the garden which is located at 85-87 Moana St, Woy Woy.
