Charity lunch for disabled surfers' association

A charity luncheon will be held at Umina for the Central Coast branch of the Disabled Surfers Association on May 17.

Ocean Beach Hotel will hold the the event to support the branch which operates at Umina Beach.

The luncheon will have three celebrity guest speakers: Australian Rugby League legends Mark Geyer and Mark Carroll and Australian comedian Tahir Bilgic.

Volunteers from the Central Coast Disabled Surfers Association and local people who have benefited from the Association's activities will also speak.

There will be a charity auction on the day and the club will donate 10 per cent of all luncheon ticket proceeds to the association.

"We hope to make this event truly special for our community and guests and we hope to see as many locals turn up on the day as possible to show support for the Central Coast Disabled Surfers Association," said Ocean Beach Hotel general manager Mr Richard Neale.
