Stridsman trains in Colorado Springs

Umina PCYC boxer Anja Stridsman has returned from a two-week training program with the United States Olympic boxing team.

Stridsman flew over to Colorado Springs in mid-March to take part in the program at the United States Olympic Training Centre.

Stridsman said the experience, while gruelling, was extremely helpful in preparing her for the European competition circuit.

"It was so amazing to see so many athletes in one place."
