Petitions report
Gosford Council has released its quarterly petitions report which details action taken on petitions submitted from April 1, to June 30.
The report stated that action was taken on a number of Peninsula petitions including a petition with 48 signatures submitted on Tuesday, May 3, regarding the poor condition of sections of the Esplanade and adjoining public areas at Ettalong Beach.
Council also took action on a petition with five signatures received on Tuesday, May 3, about the constant barking of three Golden Retriever dogs at The Bastion, Umina.
Council issued a Notice of Intent to the dog owner for nuisance barking.
The council was told that all matters raised in the report had been referred to the appropriate sections of Council for their investigation and comment.
The information was then included responses to the petitioners made by the mayor.
