Dry follows wet
Only 0.8mm of rain has fallen on the Peninsula in the last two weeks, following falls of 208.3mm over the previous nine days.
July finished with a total of 218.6mm, the highest July rainfall in seven years, according to figures supplied by Mr Jim Morrison of Woy Woy.
This was more than three times the month's average of 66.8mm.
Temperatures for the month ranged from a minimum of 4.8mm on July 8 to a maximum of 23.2mm on July 31, according to figures from www.peninsulaweather.info.
Highest minimum was 11.8 on July 6. Lowest maximum was 13.0 on July 23.
Atmospheric pressure ranged from 1006hPa on July 5 to 1034hPa on July 15.
Highest wind gust was 36.7km/h on July 19.
