Speakers at business group

Gosford mayor Cr Laurie Maher and Ettalong Bendigo Bank branch manager Mr Peter McKeon recently spoke at the Ettalong Beach Business Group monthly meeting.

The meeting was well-attended by business members and residents, according to group president Ms Jeanette Polley.

"It was a thrill to announce to our members and guests that we are to receive a grant of $15,000 towards the Ettalong Beach Festival 2012 from the Community and Cultural Grants Program," she said.

Mayor Cr Laurie Maher spoke of the possibilities for Ettalong Beach to prosper in light of the council funding which was granted to the group in 2010.

Bendigo Bank branch manager Mr Peter McKeon provided detail of the progress the bank was making and its services and sponsorships.
