Speaker talks about strokes

Woy Woy Stroke Recovery Club held its ordinary monthly meeting on Tuesday, July 12, where guest speaker was Mr Peter Smits from Community Neurological Support Service.

"As well as giving us an excellent rundown on the causes of stroke, ways to prevent stroke and how to live with the after-effects of stroke, he told us that several services such as CNSS were being relocated to premises in Woy Woy Hospital," said club secretary Ms Jeanette Thiering.

"The members were impressed and the mood after he spoke was most positive," she said.
