Council defers decision
Council has deferred a decision on an application for an extension to a dwelling at Patonga.
The deferral comes after the applicant requested more time to provide information about waste water management.
This information may take up to two months, according to a staff report.
"If this particular applicant wasn't able to supply the information in initial DA, and then a month later, why would he be deferring it?" Cr Terri Latella asked.
"[It's] such a simple issue as waste.
"We've given him a month and he hasn't been able to find someone to give some light on the management of the waste, I don't understand the leniency."
Cr Peter Freewater spoke in favour of the deferral.
"I believe we've received correspondence from the applicant," said Cr Freewater
"He's waiting on information.
"I'd like to give this gentleman the grace to get this information he's been waiting for, and then assess it."
