Health seminar about ADHD
A public awareness health seminar is to be held at Peninsula Community Centre on August 27.
It will be run by the Better Living Resources organisation and will focus on ADHD and the synthetic drugs used to treat it.
Former New Zealand swimming coach Mr Rob McIntyre will be speaking.
"He doesn't charge for his services, so all the profits go to two charities - Eagle House, which helps women and children in distress, and Youth InSearch, which helps empower troubled youth to improve their self esteem and reach their full potential," said Better Living Resources promoter Ms Janelle Tyson.
The seminar costs $15, or $10 prepaid, and starts at 2pm.
