French tones at theatre
The Peninsula Theatre will host the French tones of renowned opera singer and director Milko Foucault-Larche when he performs for the Morning Melodies program at 2.30pm on Wednesday August 17.
His performance at The Peninsula Theatre will see an authentic French tribute to legendary singer Charles Aznavour, a show that won him a prestigious Mo Award in 2009 for Best International Theme Performer.
The Morning Melodies program is designed for seniors.
The daytime performances offer social interaction and access to outstanding professional entertainment for those unable to attend evening performances, according to Gosford Council's marketing coordinator Ms Jan Wells.
They featured a variety of old favourites and new acts from orchestras, tributes, big band numbers and unforgettable showstoppers, she said.
"We are delighted that hosting acts from our popular Morning Melodies program means that people living on the Peninsula can enjoy top quality acts on their doorstep," said Ms Wells.
"Morning or afternoon tea will be served prior to each performance."
Tickets to each show can be purchased online at www.laycockstreettheatre.com or by calling the Box Office on 4323 3233.
