One in six have web sites

One in six Peninsula-based businesses have internet web sites, according to a survey carried out by Peninsula News this week.

The survey consisted of telephone calls to 147 randomly selected businesses.

Each business was asked whether it had a website and only 24 (16.3 per cent) replied that they did.

The survey was carried out as part of a campaign to establish a website directory to be published in the newspaper.
