Dentures found on the beach

A man who came on holiday at Umina Beach in March is looking for the owner of a set of dentures he found in the sand.

Mr Gerhard Loechert picked out of the wet sand a partial upper chrome denture with nine teeth while searching for pippies with his feet on Umina Beach on March 10.

"People stopped and laughed, but how must the owner have felt losing them? What were the odds of finding them?" Mr Loechert said.

"I might be able to return them to that person.

"Hopefully the owner of the denture or a dentist will read this."
