Inspection requested

Residents of Railway St, Woy Woy, have submitted a petition with 19 signatures complaining about the condition of the property at the corner of Charlton and Railway Sts, Woy Woy.

The petitioners claim the property, which is highly visible, is heavily overgrown with grass and weeds, harbours vermin and is a breeding ground for insects.

They stated that they believe the property is a health hazard to the local community and especially nearby residents.

The petitioners are requesting that Council officers inspect the property with a view to contacting the owner to request they it clean up and maintain it on a regular basis.
