Surf boating

Several Brisbane Water Secondary College teachers and students participated in the Australian Life Saving Championship Titles in surf boating in Kurrawa.

Despite tricky, rough conditions, they performed well.

Student Jason Manning, competing for Ocean Beach, secured a fifth place in the State titles and went on to make the Australian quarter finals.

Student Daniel March, competing for Umina Beach, made it through to the qualifying final rounds.

Teacher Mr Ruzek also made it through to the finals.
