Season starts

The 2004 Ladies Golf Pennant season has started with mixed results for Everglades in round one.

Grade One made a great start to the season with a 5-1 win over Gosford.

Grade Two went down 4 1/2 to 1 1/2 and Grade Three were just beaten 4 1/2 to 3 1/2.

There were also three first time winners in the first round.

They were Julie Costello, Fran Arkley and Ros Ross.
