Unable to identify and admit error

Government leaders are perceived by many in society to be role models to be emulated.

The people closest to them, such as ministers, fellow politicians, public servants, lawyers, journalists and leaders of commerce dealing with them, are often the first to be infected with the emulation virus and copy them.

Will you agree with me that bad role models debase society?

Will you also agree that of late we have been exposed to poorer and poorer roll models?

From the Prime Minister down, we seem to encounter people who are unable to identify and admit error.

Why employ diversionary tactics that are only rewarding to those of short attention span?

Or erroneous argumentative tactics devoid of substance that reward the deluded?

Or the other frequently used technique of avoiding or refusing to answer the question?

The other technique of course is to outright lie.

I suggest that such behaviours are the ultimate indicators of immaturity, ignorance and incompetence.

Why else do the sycophants not only applaud but also lap up and perpetrate more of this behaviour?
