Students attend alcohol forum

Students from Brisbane Water Secondary College attended a forum of Central Coast students at Gosford High School last Wednesday, March 30.

Minister for Gaming and Racing Mr Grant McBride asked the teenagers to tell him about their experiences with alcohol.

The forum is part of an on-going inquiry ordered last year by Mr McBride following the banning of a product called "Moo Joose".

The focus of the forum will be alcoholic products that have special appeal to young people.

"I am concerned that these types of products are aimed at attracting a new generation of drinkers," said Mr McBride.

"There is a concerning level of underage drinking on the Central Coast.

"We need the assistance of young people tackle the problem.

"Who better to tell us about the effects of this products than the teenagers themselves?"
