Sixth placing in science challenge

A group of 25 Year 10 students from Brisbane Water Secondary College students came sixth overall in the Central Coast Campus Science and Engineering Challenge Day held at the Niagara Park Community Centre recently.

The students had to show their inventiveness in undertaking designated tasks with materials.

The students came first in one of the areas, after having to go back to the drawing board with only minutes to spare.

Head teacher of science Mr Peter Jones reported that it was exciting to see so many young people totally immersed in scientific problem solving all at once.
