Submissions wanted on city management

Gosford Council is to exhibit the Draft City Management Plan 2003-2008 over a four-week period from Friday, April 25, to Friday, May 23.

The package referred to as the City Management Plan comprises of the Strategic Plan, Capital Works Program, Annual Budget, Revenue Policy, State of the Environment and Council's Community Plan.

Copies of these documents may be inspected at council's administration building inquiry counter at 49 Mann Street Gosford, branch libraries and Terrigal Tourist Information Centre over the exhibition period.

Submissions can be made throughout the exhibition period on the Draft Strategic Plan, Draft Budget, Draft Capital Works Program and Draft Revenue Policy.

All submissions must be received by May 23.

It is expected that council will formally review and adopt the Draft City Management Plan in June 2003.

During the exhibition period, council will be holding eight public workshops, one for each planning district of the city.

At these meetings, the public will be able to review the draft plan and have a say on how to improve future documents.

The Peninsula meeting will be held at Ettalong Senior Citizens Centre from 10am to 12pm on Saturday, May 17.
