First grading held for Taekwon-Do

Authentic Taekwon-Do Woy Woy held its first grading for the on Saturday, April 5.

The grading was conducted by Sabum Moore, sixth Dan Black Belt and chief instructor of Authentic Taekwon-Do.

Mr Moore travelled from Maroochydore, Queensland, to test the students for their next belt.

All the students successfully graduated to their next belt with Chloe Mobberley of Umina successfully testing for her first dan junior black belt.

Chloe attends the Authentic Taekwon-Do "Little Dragons" classes which are held in Alma Ave, Woy Woy.

She's been training for five years now with her heart set on becoming a black belt.

At 10 years old, Chloe is the youngest girl in Authentic Taekwon-Do on the Central Coast.

Not only did Chloe do well in the physical side of her grading but she excelled in the knowledge side of the exam as well.

Chloe tried hard to achieve her goal training in both the "Little Dragon" classes and also attaining the adult classes as well about two hours a night

"Chloe puts everything into her training, she's always ready to try something new she wants to learn everything she can within Taekwon-Do," said instructor Amanda Morrison

Chloe has no intention of giving up her training as she hopes one day to become an instructor.

Until then, she is happy to continue to learn everything she can.

She wishes to continue to compete in tournaments and follow in her instructors footsteps.
