Speaking against the best

Toastmasters' member Robert Stephen will represent the Eastern Division in the Semi Annual Conference at Ettalong on November 8, 9 and 10.

Mr Stephen will be up against some of the best speakers in NSW and the ACT but said he was confident that his time at Toastmasters would serve him well.

"It is not a question of winning or losing," said Mr Stephen.

"It is a question of stepping outside your normal comfort zone and simply having a go."

Toastmasters is a training and educational organisation which teaches its members communication, leadership, training and management skills, and builds their self-confidence and leadership skills through public speaking.
