Little Theatre holds auditions

Auditions for Woy Woy Little Theatre's first production of 2014, the comedy Straight and Narrow, will be held on October 29 and 31 from 7:30pm.

Director Denise Main will conduct a general reading of the play on Tuesday, October 29, so potential cast members can get a feel for the story and understand the relationships of the main characters.

Auditions for the play will then be held on the night of Thursday, October 31.

There are four males and three females in the cast.

Straight and Narrow, a West End comedy hit, centres on partners Bob and Jeff and a personal crisis in Jeff's life.

Will Bob's family prove to be more of a hindrance than a help in resolving the delicate situation?

And will Bob be able to tell his seemingly intolerant mother that what she sees as the straight and narrow is not the life for her little boy?

Jimmie Chinn's writing style lies somewhere between that of Alan Bennett and Alan Ayckbourn.
