Residents want buses removed

Gosford Council has received a petition with 93 signatures from residents of Davis St, Booker Bay, who said they had concerns regarding safety of pedestrians.

Residents suggested that buses be removed from Davis St, which would greatly reduce the risk of injury or death to pedestrians.

Residents further suggested that when Davis St was made safe, for example with a two carriage roadway with kerb and guttering, pedestrians would be able to walk on pavements not roadways and then buses could be reinstated.

Residents have requested that council make Davis St, Booker Bay, safe for all pedestrians.
