Breakfast club trialled
A large number of students took the opportunity to have breakfast before class earlier this month when Woy Woy South Public School introduced its Breakfast Club.
Children in need of breakfast were able to access cereal and toast free of charge so that they start the school day with a full stomach.
Breakfast runs from 8:20am until 8:45am and is run by teachers who volunteer their time before class.
The program is currently on trial with a decision to be made whether or not to continue it to next year.
