Course for parents of toddlers

Umina Uniting Church and Uniting Care Burnside will be presenting a course for parents of children aged one to three years from July 31.

"What makes toddlers tick?" will run for two hours a week for five weeks and address issues relating to dealing with toddlers.

Topics covering normal toddler behavior, coping with the stress of parenthood, dealing with tantrums, sleeping problems, the importance of play and feeding without tantrums will be covered in the meetings.

The group will meet on Thursdays from 10am to 12pm at Umina Uniting Church Community Centre in Ocean Beach Rd, Umina, opposite Umina Mall.

The group runs from July 31 until August 28.

Bookings need to be made prior to Thursday, July 24.

Numbers are limited.

Child care will be provided free.
