Nathan plays for State

Woy Woy Swans Australian rules football player Nathan Brown has represented the State in Canberra.

Nathan, along with three other players from the Central Coast, played for Northside AFL NSW representative team on Sunday, June 15, in Canberra against the ACT Rams.

The game had only one goal difference either way up to the last quarter.

Canberra defeated Northside by two points 6-3-39 to 6-1-37.

The Central Coast v Newcastle game, an annual event, was held on Sunday, June 22, at Newcastle.

Woy Woy Swans again showed it has talented players, with five players being selected to represent the Central Coast.

They were James Webster for the under-12 team, and Nathan Brown, Ben Edwards, Matt Miller and Ryan Webster for the under-14 team.

James Webster played an excellent game despite the team being beaten 8-6-54 to 4-4-28.

Nathan Brown captained the under-14 team to victory, 6-4-40 to 4-8-32.
