Science students commended

Pretty Beach Public School presented commendation certificates to several of its students for achievement in the Australian Schools Science Competition.

Twenty-five of the school's Year 3-6 students participated in the competition.

Credit Awards were issued to Aidan Clout of Year 3, Isabel Attwool, Owen Briggs, and Sebastian Goldrick of Year 4, and Sarah Ford, Julian Frese, Alice McCourt, and David Nipperess of Year 5.

Achievement Awards were issued to Ella Canty and Isabella Sanasi of Year 3 and Alison Beveridge and Kara Duffy of Year 6.

A total of 450,000 students from Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific region sat for the science competition.
