College upgrade funded in Budget

The $3.2 million "Stage 1 upgrade" to Brisbane Water Secondary College has received funding in the State Budget.

Across the Central Coast, capital works projects totalled $250 million, "helping to support more than 3700 jobs", said Minister for the Central Coast, Mr John Della Bosca.

Key areas of Gosford expenditure this year were $1.2 million on local transport and $18 million on local roads

Mr Della Bosca said that the Government's sound financial management meant it could reduce state debt year after year and increase spending on "vital services for our community".
