St John Ambulance likely to run hall
Management of Woy Woy Community Aged Care Centre hall is likely to be given to the St John Ambulance Peninsula division.
St John Ambulance was the only group to respond to an advertisement seeking expressions of interest and has been assessed as meeting all the requirements of managing the hall.
Advertisements were placed after Meals on Wheels advised they would no longer take responsibility for the hall.
The St John division was described as a non-profit volunteer community group.
It had members living close to the Centre who could attend to operational matters.
It would also occupy the vacant office, which would assist the group with management of the hall.
Gosford Council will decide tonight (Tuesday) on a recommendation to appoint St John Ambulance Australia (NSW) Peninsula Division as the Management Organisation for the Woy Woy Community Aged Care Centre Hall.
