Woy Woy men's pairs

The Woy Woy Bowling Club's Men's Pairs Championships have just been held.

In the first semi-final, Gordon Craig and Sel Manuel defeated Neal Williams and Chris Newell 20-18.

In the second semi, father and son team of Martin and Alan Rogers defeated Ray Duignan and Lionel Ackling 23-15.

The anticipated final saw the Rogers win 28-20.

Currently, the club's minor singles championship is on.

The club is also looking for more players for its Sunday afternoon mufti-dress mixed bowls competition.

Publicity officer Mr Ray Wright said the sausage sizzle at the event has helped it go from strength to strength and attracted more teams.

The Sunday competition starts at 12.45pm and visitors are welcome.
