Environment friends meet

Friends of the Woy Woy Environment Centre are holding a "get-together" on July 29.

"You can become a 'friend' for a small fee," according to the Centre's Beryl Strom.

Friends are able to take part in organised excursions, as well as get-togethers.

Beryl said the Woy Woy Environment Centre was officially opened on World Environment Day in 1988.

It was a Bicentennial Project, jointly funded by the State Government and Gosford City Council.

"If you need answers to environmental questions or want information, there is much information on display for your perusal," she said.
