Next round of public workships planned

Gosford Council adopted its 2000-2005 City Management Plan at its meeting on June 6.

"Council now needs to commence planning for the next round of public workshops," said council's strategic planning manager Mr Tony Camenzuli.

"These are intended to provide feedback for use in compiling Council's Draft 2001-2006 Strategic Plan;" he said.

The workshops provide the opportunity to provide input to the annual update of the Local Area Profiles.

A copy of the 2000-2005 Strategic Plan, which comprises Report One of the CMP, will be available prior to the workshops.

The workshops will also focus on the draft 2000 State of the Environment Report and will provide the community with the opportunity to make comment.

Three workshops will be held.

The first will be held on Tuesday, August 29, from 9.30 am to 11.30 am, at the Christian Life Centre Umina, 4 Sydney Ave, Umina, next to Umina Community Hall.

The other two will be held in Gosford and Kincumber.

Anyone interested in attending should phone Carmel Pickup on 4325 8154 or Chris Herridge on 4325 8815 by Monday, August 14.
