Peninsula receives police attention

A number of special police operations have been conducted on the Peninsula over the last six months and a manager has been appointed to Woy Woy police station to enhance "the quality of customer service provided".

advise that. 339 Probationary Constables recently graduated from the Police Academy on May 12.

"You may be interested to learn that following the graduation, four additional police were attached to the Brisbane Water Local Area Command to improve public safety and to continue to drive down crime.

"Superintendent Curry assures me that crime patterns throughout the Brisbane Water LAC will continue to be closely monitored with the command utilising intelligence-driven fostering and tasking to combat identified 'hot spots'."
