Charity day for cancer care

Everglades Ladies Bowling Club raised $3163 for Central Coast Cancer Care on their June 27 charity day.

Many of the goods, which were sold or raffled, were made and donated by the members.

Thirty-six teams also played two games of 15-ends in a friendly atmosphere.

The competition was won by the team of the skip Elain Goodfellow, Joyce Carmichael, Margaret Pollock and Iris Bate.
